Candy bar posters are a Father’s Day tradition at our house. The girls help me come up with what it should say and then we hit the local grocery store that has a large selection of candy bars. Isn’t it every kids dream to fill up a cart of candy at the store?
This year we dressed our poster up a bit with lettering cut from my Cricut Maker . And we used a black poster and a white painters marker with a medium tip.
It says (in case you can’t read my handwriting) Hey Mr. Goodbar, We just wanted to Take 5 to tell our super Smarties dad that we love you to Reese’s Pieces. We hope you don’t Snicker or Rolo-ver laughing at our card worth 100 Grand. On your important day Crunch away on your Spree of Sugar. We didn’t want to spend your Payday on a big present so we made you a Nerd-y poster. We thought about taking you to the Symphony or buying you a pet Fish. We wish you Mounds of Almond Joy. (XO out of Hershey kisses) The 3 Musketeers M&M’s (our names all start with a M.)
The one below we made for my dad for Father’s Day. I’m sure he’s tired of getting ties.
