Last year I had a few ideas in my head for tree skirts that I wanted to make. By the time I figured out all the details it was to late to list them in my Etsy shop. This year I started in July! I really wanted to make a ruffle tree skirt and an embroidered around the edge skirt.
I am so pleased with how they turned out! I had originally thought about making them with six sides, but my mom pointed out that if I did them with eight it will tuck up under the tree more nicely. She was right. I love how the red ticking binding pulls together the ivory and deep red. These are 54 inches wide! It takes a ton of fabric, backing, batting and binding to make these.
