This star square foundation paper piecing pattern is probably my most favorite pattern that I have made! You can make the stars scrappy or use solids and make the background scrappy. It comes is a lot of sizes to choose from, 3″, 4″,5″, 6″, 7″and 8″ squares. Pattern linked here.
