Ruffle Christmas Trees

I love all the ruffle trees that people are making this year.  They’re so cute and . . . ruffley.  With two little girls at my house we’re all about the {ruffles}. I did mine with candlesticks from the DI (thrift store) that I spray painted an off-white,  styrofoam cones, scrap fabric and wood stars that I had on hand.  The fabric is a Christmas print from Moda called Glace.  I love it because it’s a subtle, classy Christmas print, and I’m glad I found a project to use up some of the scraps leftover from a quilt.  I like the ruffles trees that have wood finials on top, but I kept forgetting to buy them at the craft store.  Anyhow, I know there are a lot fancier ruffle trees out there in blogland, but I thought I’d share mine!

That is so cute!!! I actually haven’t seen them all over the place, this is the first time and I love it! I’m in the mist of making a yo-yo tree but this would probably have been quicker and it’s just as cute!
