Dough Ornaments

Macey and I had soo much fun last Saturday making dough ornaments.  Jenn at Craft-O-Maniac posted the instructions on how to make these.  Saturday was the perfect day for doing this project with Macey.  All the chores were done, we didn’t have anywhere we needed to go, it was just a nice, chill day at home.  Macey helped mix the dough, roll it out, use the cookie cutters to make the shapes and put them on the cookie sheet.  After they baked we decorated them with glitter glue.  Macey used the big size cookie cutters and I used my mini set of cookie cutters to make little ornaments for the bough hanging over the entry way mirror.

As Macey and I were making these she kept saying the cutest things, like “This is soo fun momma!”, “Ooooh sooo pretty!”, “I love these fancy sparkles!”  It was a fun way to spend the afternoon with my little girl.  To get the instructions on how to make these go here.  The only difference I made was I used a number five Wilton icing tip to punch out the little circles for the ornament hook.  Happy ornament making to ya!
